Only in Montana




At work today I was asked by a bus driver to call one of our local ranchers and let him know that one of his buffalo calves was on the road. I thought to myself "how often do you make a call like that"?
(Just to clarify things, that is not the actual buffalo calf that was on the road. It's a picture I stole off the internet. The darn bus driver didn't get a picture.)

Oh that is so cute! It wasn't that long ago that few people had even seen a buffalo except in the Buffalo Bill Museum. I remember staring at the stuffed one in there and thinking it was such an odd looking extinct animal and now we can eat them.
