Blast from the past

Back in the 70's I begged Ken to buy a leisure suit. Thank goodness he ignored my fashion advice. However, he had several shirts that looked a lot like these. What were we thinking? If this makes you nostalgic for the 70's, check this site out.

Dave had a leisure suit, It was kind of rust in color. We later called it his weiner suit, because he looked like a big hot dog in it. When Jennie and Mark got married he wore a baby blue one. Sure hope they don't come back in style i can't imagine Bill in one.

My Dad still has his leisure suit. I didn't know they were called leisure suits until I read this post. I always called it his hippy suit. In fact one of Tanja's kids wore it on hippy day on homecoming week. I think their pretty snazzy and I'd LOVE to see Bill, Dan, Lance Chris and Kris all wearing one! As for Ken... I think he's the only one I can say would actually look good in one.

Can you believe the stuff we wore? I remember embroidering a shirt collar for Wayne that had a raccoon on it! Oh... the poly pants and sansabelts too. Now only used car salesmen wear them. LOL
